TRANSITION PROGRAMME UPDATE

A quick update now that the dust has settled after the submission of our Planning Application, and the subsequent Public Consultation period which closed last week.

I’d like to very much to thank all of you who found the time to submit your own responses in support of the Club. My thanks to Pauline and her team too for the support from her regular customers and community users of our facilities.

At the end of the day, responses in favour of the proposal outstripped objections by more than 2 to 1 – a tremendous outcome.

We anticipate that we shall get a decision, sometime in late Spring or early Summer 2025, to our Planning Permission in Principle application. I am as confident as I can be of a positive outcome when all the relevant bodies have reviewed the work we have undertaken so far.

The 2025 season now looms large and membership renewals will soon be coming your way. For the avoidance of any doubt, we will be here for 2025 without question so don’t be shy in signing (and paying) up!! For your information, the Board has set the fees and terms and conditions as per last year.

I can’t thank you all enough for your support in the last few weeks, in helping us drive the Club forward, and I look forward to that ongoing support into 2025 and the new season.
