Senior Club Championships

In an effort to encourage increased participation we separated the 'Seniors' from the main Club Championship week with a view to running it along similar line.  The timescale was fairly tight which proved problematic for some who qualified. When it was proposed that the final could be played the following week this resulted in the likelihood of further withdrawals, meaning that the competition ran the risk of being seriously de-valued.

It has now been decided therefore to introduce the following timescale:

Quarter Final to by played on or before Sunday 24th July

Semi Finals to be played on or before Sunday 15th August

Finals to be played on or before Sunday 29th August.

Competitors to arrange between themselves when they can play. Results can be viewed on Master Scoreboard along with date changes.

I know that some members will have marked their cards NTQ when playing in the qualifiers because of the original timescale and to those who are upset by this I can only apologise. This was an experimental approach to the competition and we did not anticipate some of the difficulties that arose.
